PNC Park is a classic modern ballpark located in the North Shore district of Pittsburgh, PA. It first opened in the spring of 2001, and was designed to reflect the original spirit of early ballparks, while showcasing Pittsburgh’s progressive urban outlook. It’s the current home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, an MLB team who’ve been playing in Pittsburgh since 1881.

The purpose-built venue occupies a prime riverfront location on the banks of the Allegheny River, and is deemed one of baseball’s most beautiful ballparks. In the background you’ll see a great view of Pittsburgh’s downtown skyline and the Roberto Clemente Bridge. It holds 38,362 people seated for baseball, with some extra capacity for standing room at those crowd-pulling gigs. PNC Park is a thoroughly modern venue, built with all the necessary 21st century amenities. It’s conveniently set up for infant care and families, and fully equipped for visitors with disabilities.
